Spiritual Care for All
S— Service
Martin Luther King Jr. asked "What are you doing for others?" Service is about loving and helping. It is doing what is fair and right for all people.
Begin by being honest. Take a moment to look at your day or week. How did you use your time, energy, and attention to help others?
Let what you see guide you, not shame you. This practice is to grow in love, not isolate you. Service honors the dignity and choice of others.
Reflect on how you might use your time, skills, and what you have. What brings you joy that you can share?
Name one small act of service you can do for others. This can be an act of care, time spent listening and learning, or sharing with others.
Do what you can with what you have. Even small acts of service can make a difference.
May my life help others, may love guide my actions.
