V— Vigil

A vigil is paying attention and being with someone in body or spirit during hard times.


Name: Choose who or what you will focus attention on.

Time: Decide how long you will hold vigil (minutes or hours.) Take breaks when needed.

Offer: In the silence, pray or wait with care and attention. Gently refocus when distracted.

Close: Say a few words, close your eyes, or find a way of ending that feels right. Slow breath out to end.


I honor and remember this time.
